2023 Hate Crime Data Now Available!
Marking the International Day for Tolerance, ODIHR is publishing its hate crime data for 2023.
The 2023 data contain information provided by participating States, civil society and international organizations. This includes official information reported by 48 states, including official hate crime statistics disaggregated by bias motivation for 30 countries.
The data also include information on hate incidents in 47 participating States, as reported by 125 civil society groups, the UNHCR and OSCE missions. These contributions amount to 9,891 hate incidents, including 4,123 incidents for which ODIHR processed detailed descriptions. Our civil society contributors are acknowledged here.
