Transgender Europe, the Red Umbrella Sexual Health Human Rights Association and the Human Rights Association reported the murders of three transgender women. The Human Rights Association reported the additional murder of a transgender woman. Transgender Europe and the Red Umbrella Sexual Health Human Rights Association reported an additional five attempted murders. Methods included shooting, strangulation, beating with sticks and petrol bombings. ​  

Transgender Europe and the Red Umbrella Sexual Health Human Rights Association reported two rapes, including the gang rape of a transgender woman, one kidnapping and knife attack, a further 18 physical assaults, including five involving knives, one which involved 25 victims and one in which the victim was shot at. Transgender Europe and the Red Umbrella Sexual Health Human Rights Association reported a further threat and a kidnapping.

The Human Rights Association reported two incidents of physical assaults carried out by groups causing serious injuries. The Human Rights Research Association (IHAD) reported four physical assaults, all of which were carried out by groups and three of which involved attempted lynchings, and one incident of graffiti.
