The Garda Racial, Intercultural & Diversity Office (GRIDO) developed a joint, nationwide Roma / Garda training initiative developed for members of the Roma community, both female and male, to train frontline Garda members and the Garda Ethnic Liaison Officer in anti-discriminatory policing techniques. The course will be delivered in 2014 to members of senior Garda management in conjunction with trainers and facilitators from the Roma community.
