Украинское законодательство о преступлениях на почве ненависти содержит общие и конкретные положения об ужесточении наказания, а также предусматривает основное преступление. Данные о преступлениях на почве ненависти собирают Генеральная прокуратура, Министерство внутренних дел, Государственный департамент по вопросам исполнения наказаний и Государственный комитет статистики.

Anti-LGBTI hate crime
In her "1st Quarterly Activity Report", the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe noted a lack of progress in efficiently investigating and punishing perpetrators of hate crimes against LGBT people. The Commissioner urged the authorities to effectively combat hate crime.
KEY OBSERVATION
ODIHR observes that Ukraine has not reported on cases of hate crimes separately from cases of hate speech and/or discrimination.
