Article 61. Circumstances aggravating punishment
61.1. Circumstances aggravating punishment are the following:

61.1.6. Commitment of a crime on grounds of national, racial, religious hatred or fanaticism, revenge from lawful actions of other persons, with mercenary purpose or other low prompting, and also with a purpose to hide other crime or to mitigate its commitment;

120.2.12. on motive of national, racial, religious hatred or enmity

Article 283. Inciting national, racial, social, or religious hatred and enmity
283.1. Actions aimed at inciting national, racial, social, or religious hatred and enmity, humiliating national dignity, as well as restricting the rights of citizens or defining their advantages depending on their national, racial, or religious affiliation, if committed openly, including through the use of the media, shall be punished by a fine from eight thousand to twelve thousand manats, correctional work for a period of up to two years, or imprisonment for a period from two to four years.
283.1-1. Actions stipulated in Article 283.1 of this Code, committed on the basis of religious enmity, religious radicalism, or religious fanaticism, shall be punished by deprivation of liberty for a term of three to five years.
283.2. The same actions:
283.2.1. if committed by force or threat of force;
283.2.2. if committed by a person using their office power
283.2.3. if committed by an organized gang—
shall be punished by deprivation of liberty for a term of three to five years.
283.3. Financing the acts provided for in Article 283.1 of this Code, on the basis of religious enmity, religious radicalism, or religious fanaticism, shall be punished by deprivation of liberty for a term of three to five years.
