The 2018 data contain information provided by participating States, civil society and international organizations. This includes official data reported by 42 states, including disaggregated official hate crime statistics for 26 countries.
The data also include information on hate incidents in 44 participating States, as reported by 178 civil society groups, UNHCR, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and OSCE missions.
