Survey: Consultations on ODIHR's Hate Crime Reporting

ODIHR's hate crime reporting website went public in June 2014. We are now assessing how hate crime data are collected and presented and invite you to submit your thoughts through an online survey. The survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete. We thank you for your contributions.
International Day of Persons with Disabilities

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) has been commemorated since 1992 to promote awareness and mobilize support for critical issues relating to the inclusion of persons with disabilities in society and development. The Day works to promote action to raise awareness about disability issues and draw attention to the benefits of an inclusive and accessible society for all.
Ending Hate Crime through Civil Society Coalition Building and Co-operation with Respective National Points of Contact on Hate Crime Event

Part of ODIHR's efforts to support civil society as an effective partner, this event will bring together civil society groups to strengthen dialogue and co-operation with state authorities in order to promote mutual respect and understanding with the goal of ending hate crime, intolerance and discrimination in the OSCE region.
The objectives of the event are threefold:
- Sharing best practices and challenges in building coalitions in the OSCE region to work on ending hate crime, intolerance and discrimination;
- Mapping the key elements of a collaborate and inclusive civil society approach to ending hate crime, intolerance and discrimination, and
- Examining how to best establish channels of communication and co-operation between governmental officials and civil society on the issues of hate crimes, acts of intolerance and discrimination.
This event will take place in parallel to the annual meeting with National Points of Contact (NPCs) on hate crime.
International Day for Tolerance

In 1996, the UN General Assembly invited UN Member States to observe the International Day for Tolerance on 16 November, with activities directed towards both educational establishments and the wider public. ODIHR will also publish its hate crime data for 2014 on this day.
IHRA Plenary Meeting

This will be the second IHRA Plenary in 2015. One of the reasons for choosing the city of Debrecen as the venue of the second plenary was to also involve the Jewish community in more rural cities.
Human Dimension Implementation Meeting 2015

The Human Dimension Implementation Meeting (HDIM) of OSCE participating States is Europe's largest annual human rights and democracy conference. It is organized every year by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) as a platform for 57 OSCE participating States, Partners for Co-operation, OSCE structures, civil society, international organizations and other relevant actors to take stock of the implementation of the OSCE human dimension commitments, discuss associated challenges, share good practices and make recommendations for further improvement.

TAHCLE Training-of-trainers event
